Upcoming Closures and Absences:
- Friday, June 19 – The Town Office will be closed in observance of Juneteenth. I will also be out of the area.
- Friday, July 3 – The Town Office will be closed in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
- July 6 through July 12 – I will be on vacation and out of the area. I will return to the office on July 13.
- August 17 through August 23 – I will be on vacation and out of the area. I will return to the office on August 24.
- Monday, September 7 – The Town Office will be closed in observance of Labor Day.
Additionally, in an effort to facilitate the timely issuance of Certificates of Occupancy, we ask that contractors avoid scheduling final inspections on Fridays. Friday inspections often result in situations where corrections are identified late in the day, leaving limited time to complete any required work and documentation before the weekend. Scheduling final inspections earlier in the week helps ensure that any outstanding items can be addressed promptly and allows for a smoother Certificate of Occupancy issuance process.
If you anticipate needing inspections, permit approvals, or other assistance around these dates, please submit requests as early as possible to avoid delays.
